We informed in the previous post that, AVG program is able to receive the virus definitions updates on daily basis, but the issue is only with the incorrect date appearing on the user interface.
it is an ongoing issue and our developers will soon fix it.
Please open AVG Internet Security program interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>General–>Update–>More Options" of virus definitions.
Please make sure that, "Enable streaming updates" option is enabled in it.

Last week I sent a message saying I was pleased the definitions updates seemed to be now updating ok. at a daily interval. Today it feels my optimism was misplaced as there is no daily update since 1st December.

As my colleague informed earlier, we are successfully releasing virus definitions every now via our streaming update service. I assure you that your device is protected.
