Very disappointed with 2015 version

Hello John. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. If you receive a reboot request from AVG antivirus program please perform the reboot. When it downloads the updates and if it wants to get it installed it will ask for a reboot only then the AVG program will work effectively. The AVG Performance  popups occurs when you click on "Fix Performance" option in the dashboard of AVG antivirus program. It analyses your PC and shows the issues in your PC. To fix those errors it will ask you to purchase the AVG PC TuneUp subscription. If you are not interested to purchase AVG PC TuneUp please ignore such popups.

Please feel free to contact us again should you need any further assistance.

I updated to 2015.0.6086 anit-virus ("Protection" I guess is the branded name for the product)  for Windows and I am very disappointed, thinking about a refund and changing anti-virus. AVG used to be silent, I never noticed it and that's what I want in an anti-virus. Now, it consistently forces a reboot to my computer every month, and regularly nags me with notifications like- "my pc needs a performance scan, click here to upgrade to AVG performance enhancer". What is going on? The rebooting really bugs me. I can hopefully change a setting to stop the adware notifications but the reboots sounds like a deal breaker, if it continues I will have no choice but to file for a refund and go with another vendor.
