using AVG email scanner with MS Outlook 2007, the internet/email header is simply replaced with : X-Antivirus: AVG for email.

how can i view my header info while still using the AVG scanner???

there is no addon in the Outlook client…the email scan is either ON or OFF and is all managed from within the AVG UI itself. So, I guess AVG will continue to remove header information as long as it is scanning incoming mail.

This is an unfortunate side effect of this scan…it seems as if the AVG product could do better than this!! Something to consider for future releases, and i surely hope you are enlightening the AVG development team of all of this!!

Hello Scott,
We are sorry for that. Please open the AVG Protection and click on "Options->Advanced settings" From there select the email protection and disable "Outgoing email scan" and see if that fix the issue.
