Paul, thank you for sharing the screenshot.
We're sorry for the inconvenience caused. It could be caused if AVG app is unable to communicate with our updates server. I'd request you to repair AVG to resolve the issue.
If the issue persists, please reinstall AVG.

Hi Thank you for your prompt reply 
I have some screenshots of what i am experiencing 
The Viral Database cant be updated. it says it is 5 months old and even if I active the upate it does not!!
How can this be fixed
