Hi, I uninstalled AVG at the end of my contract, and straight away, Windows Defender detected the following threat :
Virtool:32/DefenderTamperingRestore
Does anyone know why this could be, and is there anything I can do? I've run defenders full scan offline, but it can't seem to remove it.

Could you please let us know if you have performed the scan with AVG Antivirus before?
Also please do reinstall AVG Free AntiVirus and let us know if you detect the same threat.
