Could you confirm once if you have used our both AVG Clear and AVG Remover tools?

Note : Please run the AVG Clear first and then the AVG Remover
Once uninstalled, please reinstall the AVG Anti Virus Free from http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free
My OS is Windows XP Pro, I am running the latest version of AVG Free AntiVirus. Most of the menu items do not work, and the program constantly shows virus and program updates as "a few seconds ago." Others have posted about this same issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling (several times) – and this has not changed anything! I am worn out with this issue. Has AVG accepted the fact that they have bugs in this new update 17.6.3029 and are they working to fix them?
