Virus CMD:DNSChanger-A [Trj] not getting quarantined

I have exactly the same issue. How can I fix it?

Hi Jeroen,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
As we're uncertain about the exact pop up that you receive, would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of it for better clarity?
Note : If you get an option 'See details' in the notification, please click on it & then share us the screenshot.
Also, let us know if there is any pattern of the pop up occurrence such as browsing.

I'm getting a "Threat secured" message several times a day. Saying: We've moved msiexec.exe to your Quarantine because it was infected with CMD:DNSChanger-A [Trj]. When I check the quarantine, nothing is there. So this message keeps on popping up.

How can I actually remove this virus from my laptop? (Windows 10).

Or how can I make sure this could be a "false positive"?

Kind regards,

Jeroen

Hello Dinesh,

Thank you for your quick response. I’m getting the following message. At the moment I don’t know if it is only occurring when I’m browsing, it’s just poping up several times a day.
And when it pops up it’s displaying the same message 3 or 4 times directly after each other when I’m closing the window with the cross (right upper corner).

Hi Victor,

In light of the current circumstances concerning Covid-19 outbreak, there was a delay. Hope you're well.

Are you receiving this pop-up when you access any particular application?
