Virus Database Update

I disabled my Internet connection last night before shutting down my PC.  This morning, I saw the error regarding a failure to update virus definitions.  I enabled the connection.  About 45 minutes later, AVG had indeed updated the virus definitions.  (I was not paying attention to AVG, so I do not know when it actually updated.)

This issue is CLOSED.

When I booted up my PC this morning, my Internet connection was disabled, the result of me explicitly disabling it last night before shutting down.  AVG showed an error in that it could not update its virus database.  I enabled the Internet connection, but AVG did not try to update the database even 30 minutes later.  I finally had to manually request AVG to do the update.

I have Definition Update Schedule enabled with Run Automatically.  This was indeed NOT automatic.

AVG should retry the update as soon as the Internet connection is working.
