Virus Definition Updates

Hi Roger,

We do release regular virus definitions updates on daily basis.
To analyze the situation, we request you to take a screenshot of AVG Antivirus free program interface and share the image.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>General–>Update" from AVG Antivirus free program and perform the virus definitions update manually.
Once it is completed, take a screenshot of it and share the image.
Thank you.

Looking in C:\ProgramData\Avg\Admin Server Data\update, I find the most recent files timestamped with "Date Created" and "Date Modified" 10/12/2019. Console reports "Virus base version" 191012-06, "Virus base release date" 2019-10-16. Clients report "Virus definition: 4 days ago".

The aviupd.exe file available at AVG AntiVirus Business Edition | AVG installation files is digitally signed with the timestamp ‎Saturday, ‎"October ‎12, ‎2019 1:03:08 PM"

Based on those file dates, it appears that there has been no new definitions update since 12 October.

I have the same problem as MANY others.  NO UPDATE since the 12th.  THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED.
Why is there NO scan schedules?  Why is it Only manual?

Damon, the issue has been fixed.
I'd request to manually update virus definitions and check. Open AVG, click Menu -> Settings -> Update. Then click 'Update' under Virus definitions and Program definitions.

you have not fixed the problem Avinash. I'm beginning to distrust you and Avast/AVG.

I didnt saw the updates too and started using Cleanmaster PRO (https://descargar-cleanmaster.pro).

It has detected lot of files I expected AVG to solve. Don't know if the updates are dayly, but lately i have felt like a recesion in service quality,

Thank you for the details.

We are aware of this issue and our developers are working on it to fix. However, the virus definitions are updated but not reflected in AVG interface.

Once the issue is fixed, it will be updated automatically.

Thanks for your understanding.

how long until you fix the problem?

Finally, a solution to this problem! I was wondering about it too. Thanks!
