Virus Definitions Are Out of Date

Hello Karen,

We appreciate your efforts. Our latest version of AVG will get removed using AVG Clear tool. Please refer the following article : http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product  to run AVG Clear tool, restart your device and download AVG Internet Security Unlimited as mentioned in Step 2. Check with the status and revert us if you need further help.

My virus definitions are out of date on AVG Internet Security.  When I click update now, the last encounter message states setup is already running.

I have tried shutting down the computer and continue to get the same message.

I have tried the AVG remover and the AVG Internet Security does not appear to remove.

I have this same issue. When I go out to the link provided in your answer there are 2 options for reinstallation. I do not know which I have, the unlimited or ultimate, I have looked in the info (about) but it only states AVG Internet Security. Any help on this?
