Virus Definitions Out of Date

In the Internet AVG window I've a message 'Virus Definitions Out of Date' with a button 'Update Now', I click on the 'Update Now; it refreshes to another window and for a few seconds looks like the update is loading but then stops. I click 'ok' and it returns to the same screen with the message 'Virus Definitions Out of Date' with a button 'Update Now'?

Could you provide the screenshot of the message saying 'Out of date' and the version of the program? To find version: Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > About.
