Virus Definitions Won't Update

Please share the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the AVG update screen and let me know the version of AVG installed on your computer.

To check the version, open AVG AntiVirus free, click on "Menu->About".

You can also restart your computer once and check if you are able to update AVG.

Hello,
I have AVG Free on Windows 10 and my Virus Definitions won't update.  I get as far as the "Initializing…" part, and then it just stays there for hours and hours and hours with nothing happening.  The rest of the program works fine (i.e. scanning, securing viruses, etc.).  Any ideas as to what the problem could be, or how to fix it?
