I would request you to follow the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to reinstall AVG Internet Security by running AVG Remover and AVG Clear tool.
After uninstall, please reinstall AVG https://www.avg.com/en-us/download and check if the program is up to date.
I am happy with avg and have been for a couple of years. But recently in the last month or so it will scan and show an unresolved issue. When I go to resolve it it's the outdated virus definitions so I update and the update fails. Any way to get it to resolve this matter?
