Hi Brock,
We're glad to clarify this for you.
Each antivirus has their own, unique scan algorithm & scan engine. Hence, the results will differ.
You can be rest assured that your computer would be protected against emerging threats & hackers with AVG Internet Security installed on it.
Multiple security software on the same system will conflict with each other & none will work effectively. It is recommended to use only 1 security software on the computer.
I have AVG Ultimate installed on Windows 8.1.
All protections enabled with auto updates and scans.
Yesterday discovered Firefox browser was hacked. Ran MalwareBytes root kit and it picked up 4
"Security.Hijack" items.
\cscript.exe
\mmc.exe
\rundll32.exe
\wscript.exe
Should AVG have picked these up?
AVG would have delected it, Brock
Are you still facing the issue with the Firefox browser?
