Virus on network drive

Trojan (Bitcoin?) repeatedly infecting network drive. Drive is mapped, and can be scanned with AVG, which removes threats, but the virus recurs. How does it get in, and how to stop it? (It does not seem possible to integrate network drive into  a 'whole computer' AVG scan.)
