thanks for the answer…it did not work. I get to the "search flags" box, but entering managed brings up no results both under the Available and Unavailable headings. there are about 100 flags before I type an inquiry in the box, but the managed message is not amoung them.
This is not happening in my Chrome browser. It is happening in my Firefox browseer.
Hi Keith,
We regret the inconvenience caused.
Management is a feature that lets administrators control Chrome browser settings. If you use the Chrome browser on a workplace computer, your employer can set hundreds of policies that control how Chrome functions.
However, if you are seeing this on your personal computer, please follow the steps below to disable it.
1. Open Google Chrome web browser and type chrome://flags/ in addressbar and press Enter. It'll open the advanced configuration page.
2. Now type managed in the "Search flags" box.
3. To disable/remove the "Managed by your organization" message, select Disabled from the drop-down box.
4. Google Chrome will ask you to restart the browser. Click on "Relaunch now" button to restart Google Chrome.
Please let us know if the issue is resolved or not.
I got a (Your browser is being managed by your organization.) that automatically changes my browser from Google to Yahoo. I've tried scans and following internet tries and fixes and cannot eliminate it. I feel AVG should have caught this or at lease recognize and quarantine it when I run a browser and virus scan. anyone with a fix?
We will help you to resolve the issue.
