Virus or Other?

Hello Sandy,
Thank you for sharing the screenshot. Upon checking with your screenshot we can see that you have used "Fix Performance" in AVG Free version. The Fix Performance is one of the features in AVG PC Tune Up. In trail version Fix performance feature can be used only once. To continue this features we need to purchase it. To get more discount and offers we would recommend you to get connect with our sales team through this https://support.avg.com/support_sales?l=en_US link. Thank you.

Using Windows 8.1. Free  AVG. Ran a full scan yesterday and advised all protected. Ran the quick performance fix and cleared minor issues. My pc running slow today so repeated the performance check and the junk files showed about 2,300 items. As most are windows updates, with a number of non critical error reports, I am unsure if I should be worried. I have never come up with so many and I wonder if this happens normally from time to time.As my virus protection said I was fully protected, could this be a new virus or indicate hacking to delete critical components? Should I be worried?
I have not cleared the list yet.
I started having problems after I tried to install card games. I did a system restore and followed up with the full scan etc, Then today the large(for me) junk file with over2000 items.
hope you can help
Sandy

Sandy,
We do understand your concern, we apologize for the difficulties. Could you please attach the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the scan resuls you are getting. Let us know if you are using the AVG PC Tuneup trial version or did a scan using the Fix performance under AVG Antivirus free program. Thank you!

Thanks Aravindh,
Does this mean that I can go ahead and press the button that says 'fix now' ?
It still seems like a lot of junk files in 24 hours.
Sandy
