Currently running Windows 7 64 bit operating sytem on a Dell Studio 15z laptop. Had to reimage to the original state and the wireless is inoperable. Can get online using a cat5 cable through the same wireless modem. Another computer running the same windows 7 64 bit operating system and the wireless is operational. Had Dell checkout the studio 15z and Dell informs me of a virus preventing the wireless operation. Both the operating system and backup have the virus
Reloaded AVG Internet Security 2015 and ran a whole computer scan and Trojan Horse Generic R was put in the virus vault. I emptied the virus vault, but the wireless is still inoperable. What can be done to getting the wireless operational again.
