Could you provide the version(software, virus definitions) of AVG program installed on your PC to assist further? To find: Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > About.

Every time I turn on my computer, it says virus protection out of date, I click update and it still says out of date–I have enabled auto updates upon installation, (my computer is in the sleep mode during the day–only off at night)–never had this problem before==only after canceling VPN .
