Yes. It doesn't seem to be able to remove this virus; I always seem to get problems when I renew AVG. It happended last time; also noticed the scheduling ability has disappeared in the software. Again this happened last time.
Is it simply a case of downloading AVG again? If so not sure how I do this.

Thank you for the information, Andrew. Please check the file path when you receive the detection pop up again. Then go to that location and remove that file/folder completely. Then I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. I can't seem to clear this virus, everytime I start my computer this comes, asking me to restart my computer, becaue of the aforementioned virus, even though it confirms it has been cleared.
