Recently upgraded to the new version of AVG and now I get this constant attention alert do to the Visual Studio 2012x64 Redistri being permanently enabled…?  It will not allow me to disable it  (it comes back on immediately) nor can I figure out how to bypass it so I don't get the alerts any longer.  Plus, since when does AVG want to get rid of all of your downloads as junk…?  How do I bypass THAT folder also…?  Help.

Melinda, thank you for the information.
Usually, the downloads folder can be cleaned to save the disk space. So it is included in the AVG PC Tuneup's browser cleanup utility. In the image you added, we see the downloads folder is excluded from removing its contents. And to resolve the issue with AVG Program deactivator, we have sent you an email instruction to get connected with our technical support team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them and you should be able to resolve your issue. Thank you.
