Oh hi! It’s been a while...
I have followed previous threads and Deactivated AVG, installed Visual Studio, then added the Visual Studio Folder to the exceptions list and I still get this detection. I downloaded Visual Studio from Microsoft Imagine site.
My question is, is this an AVG issue or an MS issue and is there a better fix?
I am happy to add more information if needed.

Hello Raf,
Thank you for your patience. As per our request from our developers, we would request you to confirm, whether you had installed AVG 2017 version on your system?
Thank you,
Pandi, AVG Customer Care.
Hello T,
We are sorry to know that. To assist you better, could you please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the threat detection message you get? So, that we can check the same and assist you further. We suggest you to add the Visual studio exe file alone to AVG exception list (http://avgclick.me/AddException) and see if that fix the issue.
Thank you
