I understand your concern. Please let me know the version of AVG you have installed in your computer. In the latest version 17.6.3029 of AVG, this issue was fixed. If you have not installed the latest version, please install and check if everything works fine.
I've asked about this AVG glitch several times, and as can be seen in the posts, so have others. AVG does not seem very eager to deal with the fact that their software completely shuts down all VMware. I have switched over to Avast and the problem went away. If AVG is willing to fix this problem, I'll switch back.
