Hello John,
You can add the correct VPN address by following the steps in this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Allow-application-in-AVG-Firewall. Once you are in "Adavnced settings" of firewall. Please select "Expert mode at the bottom of the window and from there you will get the option to add the IP address.
