I have to turn off the VPN to receive or send my emails, only started yesterday, never had a problem before.

Thank you for your suggestion, but that did not work. I keyed in the wrong Outlook, i am on 2007 not 2017
I found that Mircosoft Outlook had disable AVG VPN.
I went to help tab on Outlook 2007, clicked on disable items, a panel showed up what is in the disabled list, i clicked on AVG and enabled it. Now i do not have any troubles.
