In general, some email providers and banking websites doesn't allow the access when it is tried via VPN application.
Hence, you can check with them whether they allow the connection via VPN or not.
In the mean-time, you can change the location in AVG Secure VPN and try accessing the email and banking account.
Are you able to send/receive emails for your Yahoo account?

VPN blocks my yahoo mail and on-line bank.  I turn it off and both work fine.
