Are you able to connect with the internet when the AVG Secure VPN is turned off?

Could you mention the location (China) which you are  trying to connect in the VPN?

HI, I installed your latest update and after few weeks, i can no longer connect to the internet. after several attempts of fixing, i have decided to reinstall my OS. after the OS installation, the first external APP i installed is AVG Antivirus and AVG VPN. Even with this effort, i can not still connect. Can you help me on this? I am based in China.
