Hi,
I have VPN s/w from another supplier (CyberGhost) which seems to work fine. My AVG Antivirus pops up now and then and claims “We´ve found 4 privacy issues” and states that “Anyone can see what you do online” etc as if my VPN is not working.
Is AVG just assuming that I do not have a VPN connection or does it indicate that my VPN connection does not work? Is it possible with reasonable effort for the Antivirus to detect if I have an active VPN connection?

I have disabled the applicable popup. Based on your reply and my own recent testing I believe that my VPN works. Out of technical curiosity I would be interested in a response to my last question above (active VPN detection) but I am glad that the popups are gone;-)/Thanks again/Lasse
