Hello Richard,
If you have Ireland location available for our VPN, then you can click on "Change Location" and set it.
If not, you can set the near by location for Ireland and check whether you are able to access those sites.
Certain websites has their own restriction policy which couldn't be bypassed even we use an VPN application.
Thank you.
How do I or can I set Ireland as my default location - the existing Glasgow / UK default location is denying me access to quite a number of Ireland websites when VPN is enabled (IP address issue ?)
Hi Bala - many thanks for your prompt reply. I have accessed the change location option on VPN & unfortunately Ireland is not listed as an option. The nearest is UK Glasgow, London or London Wonderland (wherever that is ??). Is looks like that with VPN enabled I have a "virtual" UK IP address as Irish websites I have frequently used in the past are now stating "It looks like you are not in Ireland" - which of course I am !! Looks like I don't have a resolution ?
One postive upside however that with a Irish IP address we cannot access (for example ) the BBC iPlayer which I believe is not acccessible to non UK IP addresses (something to do with TV licenceing requlations?
Thanks again for trying to assist
Richard
Yes, that's right. BBC iPlayer can be accessed only by UK customers and they have the restriction policy as informed earlier.
As per our record, your location is Ireland and choosing UK as your location should be the reason for you not to access quite number of Ireland websites.
You can choose other locations available in P2P and see whether you are able to access the sites.
