Despite being turned on (to say I'm in London, U.K.) I cannot run BBC videos. See attached screenshot.

We understand your concern,Lee. Let us attempt to explain this clearly for you.
Unfortunately, certain streaming services has taken counter measures to block its users from accessing its content through Secure VPN servers, while we do continue to add new servers and ip addresses, they are quite fast to identify the same.
However, you can try connecting to streaming servers such as Gotham city, Miami, Wonderland, etc. to check if it helps. The issue is with few streaming & banking websites alone. You'll be still able to secure the network to which your computer is connected, make your surfing secure, etc.
