VPN has stopped working

Since I subscribed to AVG Secure VPN, I haven't had any problems, but two days ago the service doesn't seem to be working properly anymore.  I use it mainly to be able to play games on steam, since the platform is blocked on my internet network. I've reinstalled the VPN and it still doesn't work. I've also tested it with other VPNs and they work perfectly.

Please try switching the VPN protocol to Mimic – you can find that option in the App Settings:

  • Windows: ☰ Menu ▸ Settings
  • Mac: ☰ Menu ▸ Preferences
  • Android: Tap Settings/VPN Protocol
  • iOS: Tap Settings/VPN Protocol
If the issue persists get back to us we will assist you further.
