VPN has to restart every time

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG Secure VPN.
In this regard, we'd suggest you to reinstall Secure VPN on your computer to check if it helps. To do so, follow the steps in below articles :

The VPN program stops every time I log off the computer—I have to restart it  even after I have set it to  to start automatically at start up !      Anyone else having this problem ?    How do I fix it ?

I have also had same problem as Jennifer.  Sometimes it also takes repeated attempts to force the supposed automatic on selection via the slide button on the VPN pop-up.
Help would be appreciated
