VPN Locations Meaningless

Until today I have used AVG VPN very well and satisfactorily, however there is a now bug which makes it unusable for me.

When using the VPN I specifically select Australia as my VPN location in order to avoid broad VPN, country-limited evasion bans on other games and software, but AVG VPN now seemingly chooses a location at random for my VPN connection - regardless of what option I choose.

Today I selected Perth, Australia and it gave me London - I tried again and it gave me Frankfurt.

If my geographic connection location is randomised on each connection, I run a real risk of being banned in other software and games. As such I cannot use AVG VPN until this is fixed.

As I said before I had no problems whatsoever until today and this is very frustrating.

Hi John,

This isn't the experience we want you to have. We'd like to look into this & help you.
Please share us the screenshot of the AVG Secure VPN interface that shows the server to which you're connected & the IP address of it.
Also, clarify whether you've checked the IP address by visiting 'what is my Ip' website or similar site.
