have just had a windows update and vpn doesn't work - help

May I know what is the exact issue that you are experiencing with AVG Secure VPN? Please share a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the error message if it generates any when you try to launch the application. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Thank you Avast - VPN is now OK! but Internet security has only basic protection and I bought the full version. It is all since the latest windows update

I'm glad to hear that the AVG Secure VPN issues has been resolved.
You can follow the instruction to activate AVG Internet Security, you have to select login option to activate it.

We appreciate your efforts. It occurs due to synchronization issue which should be fixed when you reactivate AVG Secure VPN. We have updated your license from our end, please try to log out and log back in after 5 hours and check its status. 
Open AVG Secure VPN -> Logged in at the top right -> choose log out and then log back in to perform the reactivation steps.
