Initially, we'd like to clarify that AVG Secure VPN helps us to mask the IP address of the computer & make it to pose in a different region to bypass geolocation restrictions.
Unfortunately, certain streaming services has taken counter measures to block its users from accessing its content through Secure VPN servers.
While we do continue to add new servers and IP addresses, they are quite fast to identify the same.
However, you can try connecting to streaming servers (locations) such as Gotham city, Miami, Seattle, etc, that are available in Secure VPN to check if it helps.
Also, it seems that Sky sport is being broadcasted in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, etc. You can also try connecting to these servers to check.
Vpn is on… Location server selected "London UK" still get the message from Sky Sport "video not allowed in location"
Vpn doesnt seem to be working!

A few years ago I had Nord VPN and experienced the same problems with Netflix connections. I only just remembered after your possible solution suggestions.
