Vpn notifications

Thank you for the response. It clarifies two things for me:  the first is that AVG's custormer service is unbelievably subpar, and the second is that not only will I be looking for other internet secuity but I will be sure to post on my blog, on all of my social media, and really anywhere else I can find, that it took 16 days before my internet security provider could be bothered to respond to a simple question.  Thankfully, my question this time wasn't about security. If it had been, I guess I would have been in some real trouble, huh?  Thank you.

All the best.

Hello Andrew. Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the delayed response. My name is Shawn, and I am writing on behalf of the AVG Senior Support team.

Specific to your concern, this is the intended behavior of the program, as we use different types of notifications, and it is necessary to split them.

I trust this explanation helps clarify your concern. Regards, Shawn

I have three separate listings in notifications for AVG VPN.  AVG Secure VPN, AVG VPN Actions, and AVG VPN Status…and all three are constantly alerting me to something.  I know they can be disabled but which one, if any, is actually important?

Andrew, we apologize if AVG product did not meet your expectations. Our main goal is to keep our customers happy.

AVG carefully monitors the quality of our products and the service we provide, therefore your feedback is important to us.

Yes but the extra two have just arrived and with their arrival has triple the number of notifications.  In fact, there is almost never a time that I dont have a. desktop alert popping up.  I know how to change the notification settings, and I did so.  But Action and Status just sort of showed up recently and I'm wondering why the app needs three different pathways to clutter up my screen when all the other apps I have only need one?

We apologize for the inconvenience, Andrew.

We understand your concerns regarding the notifications from AVG Secure VPN.
We have forwarded your request to our senior team. They will get back to you via email as soon as possible.
We request you to check your Inbox/spam regularly for the response.
Your patience is appreciated.
