When I turn on the VPN, some sites won't load. Some give an error message, others simply do nothing. If I turn off the VPN. my access to sites is unobstructed.
I see this issue in other questions, but no fixes are mentioned.

Along with changing the server/location in your AVG Secure VPN, please enable the Mimic VPN protocol as mentioned in the below steps and check whether you can access the websites:
Open AVG Secure VPN > Menu > Settings > Protocols > Select Mimic.
Keep us updated.
After trying 3 different locations, was successful logging into one of the websites. San Francisco and Seattle fail consistently. LA seems to work for at least one site.
