This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program. Let us work towards fixing the issue.

I have AVG VPN switched on and never had an issue until last couple of days. I keep getting a pop-up saying attempting to reconnect VPN and following that my internet drops out completely and takes short while to reappear, sometimes with VPN reconnected and sometimes without. If without another pop-up appears. This cycle is becoming more and more frequent and knocking out other devices using the internet such as wireless speakers.
What could be causing this and how do I fix?

Thank you for acknowledging query. I had searched for a similar issue but could not finf one. After posting query my daughter took a look and performed vpn repair and again rebooted the computer. Since doing this the problem has not recurred.
