VPN server is not responding

Hello K f.
We're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I'd request you to uninstall and reinstall AVG Secure VPN app on your Mac and try to connect.

Hello,

My System is IMac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

Whenever I want to enable VPN, I always get this message:

The VPN server is not responding. Check the server address and try connecting again.

Whichever server I try, always the same answer.
What does it mean: server address?

I have as a resort:
1. Tried several other servers.
2. Computer turned off and restarted.
3. AVG Secure VPN in the proposed manner, uninstalled, the latest version of the AVG platform downloaded and reinstalled.
4. I also enabled IPsec in the router.

The result is unchanged. No connection is made.

What advice can you give me?

It would be a shame to cancel the subscription, because it worked without problems for 10 months.

best regards,
K van der Veen

Hello Avinash,
Sorry, but in point 3 here above, I already mentioned that I completely uninstalled AVG VPN, downloaded and reinstalled a new version from your platform. I have done this up to 3 times and again after your advice (against better judgment).
The result remains unchanged:

The VPN server is not responding. Check the server address and try connecting again.
