Hello AVG
The AVG VPN update that came out today has affected my download speed across all my devices and affects all methods of connection; 5g, 4G, and ethernet connection.
I know it is the VPN causing the problem because the download speed returns to normal after turning off the VPN.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the VPN app but the problem still persists.
Can you please help?

You mayexperience a slower internet connection when using AVG Secure VPN. This is because a VPN encrypts traffic and data before sending it to a server. Depending on the distance and capacity of the server, this process may cause a slightly slower, but safer, internet connection.
Please try connecting to one of the Streaming or Torrenting servers (locations) that are available in Secure VPN & check for the issue.
Also, please enable the Mimic VPN protocol in your AVG Secure VPN by following the below steps:
Open AVG Secure VPN > Menu > Settings > Protocols > Select Mimic.
