VPN slows my internet connection to a crawl

However, you can try connecting to different servers (location) in AVG Secure VPN to identify the server that provides better network connectivity.

After activating VPN, internet browsing has slowed to a crawl, some pages taking up to 3 minutes to load.  As soon as I turn off the VPN, instant load!  Does anyone have an easy fix?  Many thanks, Keith
