VPN tells me I need to buy a licence, even though I have a licence for it

I have bought a 1 year multi-device VPN subscription. I activated it with the licence key that was emailed to me. I also installed it on my mobile phone, and activated it with the same key, and it is activated on my wife's machine, so 3 devices in total.

Now, on my PC (the first device), it tells me that I either have to start a free trial, or buy a licence, yet on the same module under the "my subscriptions" tab, it shows that I have the VPN, that it is installed, and it shows the licence number underneath.

Please help? How do I get my VPN working again?

Hello Philip,

We recommend you to activate it using your email address and password instead of license number.

Open AVG Secure VPN -> My AVG -> My Subscription -> Log out and remove license (if available) -> Log in -> enter your email address and password to activate it.

Phillip, did you activate your subscription successfully?

Currently, AVG Secure VPN Multi-device subscription will not appear under AVG MyAccount as we are currently undergoing a major system update. However, this doesn't impact the installation/activation of the product.

Are you able to see the other products under AVGMyAccount page? If not, provide the screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot) of AVG MyAccount page displaying no AVG products with your e-mail address at the top.

Thank you.

Thank you for the prompt response, I will try that. However, when I log into “My AVG” with my email address, my paid-for products do not appear under “my products”. How can I link them?

Hi Ranjani,

Using my login details, the issue has been resolved. My VPN is working perfectly.
All my subscriptions show in the AVG module and are working.

Again, thank you for the assistance.

Phillip

That's great, Phillip.
We appreciate your efforts.
Thank you for letting us know its status.
