Is anyone else having trouble with the VPN lately? Until the recent upgrade I was able to watch Now TV, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer on my computer so long as I turned the VPN off. However, after the upgrade BBC iPlayer wouldn't work - it gave me a message that it could only be viewed in the UK, and the message remained even when the VPN was turned off. I was desperate to watch the last 2 episodes of Happy Valley, so I uninstalled the VPN and watched them. I haven't reinstalled the VPN yet. Should it really be necessary to uninstall the VPN in order to stream TV? Is there an easier way? Thanks

I would like to inform you that some of the Government, Banking, and Streaming websites might block their access with VPN due to privacy and security reasons of the website.
In this case you can change the streaming location of the VPN and check the issue using the following steps:
AVG Secure VPN has servers in several locations, which means you can bypass geolocation restrictions as well as access your favorite content while traveling

  • Open AVG Secure VPN, Click Change location on the main application screen.
  • Optionally, use the side menu to view all of the servers in a specific continent, servers that are optimized for streaming, or servers that are optimized for torrenting.
  • Select a country and city.
