VPN vs. Annoying as hell

I really wish that AVG would include a self dianosis area on their constant hurang about getting a VPN through them. Every day it is the same you are not protected from others viewing your browsing or some such and that I'm in Flordia, or New York, or Marion, IN - and today it appears I'm in Los Angeles. Yes - you guessed it I have a roving VPN that changes it's visible IP every time I open a page for the net. But - AVG is bound and determined to convince me that I don't have a VPN and I get these warnings all over my webpages about not being secure. WTF - why the hell can't I turn it off? I'm paying for everything else, I don'\t need their VPN and they wont shut up about it. Does anyone know how to hack AVG to turn off these damned messages and popups?

Hello Michael,

The option to disable marketing popups for other AVG products is available in the paid version of AVG Internet Security.
Since you have subscribed for AVG Ultimate, you can get this done.
Open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>General–>Privacy".
Uncheck the box that says "Show offers for other AVG products".
Click Ok and you shouldn't be getting the marketing popups for other AVG products.
Feel free to contact us if you need further help.
