Please try connecting to different servers (location) that are available in AVG Secure VPN to check if it helps.
Additionally, please change the network profile to private, if it is set to public network. You can manage network profile as mentioned in this article.

I have been using the VPN for months now. I enabled access to local devices and was able to print all along, but now I can no longer print over our wireless network unless I turn off the VPN. How can I correct this?
