I also tried the 30 day trial and had to unistall and reload twice, glad I did not buy. Please contact me and offer an other 30 day trial when you get this issue fixed. Thank You

I am sorry to hear that. I would suggest you to uninstall AVG Secure VPN from the Control panel and reinstall it. Check if you are able to Turn ON the VPN protection. If you face any difficulties, please contact us to assist you further.

Im having the same issue… just downloaded the free 30 day trial of VPN serivce and when on the screen to turn the feature "on" another window pops up that reads "Loading" for about 30 seconds then disapears and nothing happens.
The VPN service won't turn ON. I have paid for the 1 years service to my account which it shows being active, but when I try to turn ON the VPN service from the main panel, it says VPN I am not protected and when I try to switch it ON, a pop-up screen says "secure VPN Loading" for 15 secs then nothing.
ok I have same probel after one/two days (trying vpn trail) stops to work (will not connect to vpn) I tryied to restart services (on win 7 pro) but nothing I'm installing for the 2 time! Insteda "to be sorry or ti understand" is sure that the product haves big bugs so if you are planing to ask money maybe I think is bettar to work on it so that will be a working software or taking away from store will be a fear second solution!

Please reinstall AVG Secure VPN and check whether the issue persists.
To uninstall AVG Secure VPN please follow the steps as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/1DEtNP0 .
Secure VPN can only be installed from AVG 2017 version user interface.
To download latest AVG Antivirus free 2017 version please follow the steps as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free .
Once it is installed you will get the main user interface from which proceed to install AVG Secure VPN and keep us informed about the status.
You can uninstall AVG Antivirus free later if you aren't interested to use it.

I understand you are unable to turn on AVG Secure VPN on your computer. Please restart AVG Secure VPN service on your computer and check if that fixes the issue.
* Click Start, click on the Start Search box, type services.msc, and then press ENTER.
* You can see the list of services open, search for AVG Secure VPN service and click on restart.
* Right-click the AVG Secure VPN service that you want to configure, and then click Properties.
* On the General tab, in Startup type, click Automatic if selected in Manual, Disabled or Automatic (Delayed Start).
