Vprotect uses 100% of my CPU

My PC CPU is running at 100% all by Vprotect… This is with no applications running and with the PC disconnected from the internet. I am running microsoft windows 10. This level of usage is causing the fan to run at max trying to keep the PC cool , but it gets hot. What can I do?
