(Note that all bold spots are where is the most important.)I was downloading a game from a friend. Scanned it on VirusTotal, 8 said it was bad. Rescanned, all good. I run the installer, and AVG scans the file. It's unsure, so it sends it to AVG Virus Labs. After, it said it was malicious, even though on both VirusTotal scans it said it was fine with AVG. After I installed another antivirus from Intel, AVG started going wonky. Said it needs updates, but it had all recent updates, and it has the virus definitions up to date. He told me to try and install the game again, but with Passive Mode on. I did, and it still quarantined it and even put Passive Mode off, saying the file was infected with "W32:Malware-gen". I've never seen it do this before. Before, it said it quarantined for "Custody". Anyone know what this is?
