Hello Robin,
We are sorry to hear that. To fix this issue, we suggest you to ignore the biometirc application from sleep mode in the AVG Performance program. and check if that fix the issue.

I have an hp Elitebook 8440P with biometric login.  This computer was getting bogged down with CPU usage and so I went through the AVG Performance program and put to sleep all programs that weren't necessary.  Well, now my biometric login isn't available and I can't seem to get it to work again. 

Suggestions?
