May I know how do you confirm that AVG causing the issue? Did you got any notification from AVG says that the application is blocked?
Please ensure if any necessary applications/windows features are in sleep mode, if yes, please wake and check the status. ( Open AVG TuneUp > Speed up > Background & startup programs > wake the programs)
Also, please make sure that the AVG Internet Security - Ransomware protection is in Smart mode.
(Open the AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Basic protection > Ransomware protection > Select the preference mode - change it to Smart mode (if it is strict mode)).

I have been exceedingly unhappy with my experience with AVG . It creates conflicts with my windows operating system. I have paid handsomely for it and all the adjuncts but I cannnot use other apps I would like to use as well. I just want to get rid of and restore the Windows Defender to my computer but I am blocked every way possible. What is the fastest way to remove all your software form my computer?
